M.B., Ch.M. : Air Mechanic II, A.F.C., A.I.F., England. Enlisting 12th December, 1917, and sailing 28th February, 1918, was attached to No. 1 School, R.A.F., Stonehenge, from May to 1st September as ambulance driver and then to No. 7 Training Squadron A.F.C., Leighterton Aerodrome, as motor transport driver, serving until demobilisation. Early education at Brisbane Grammar School.
