Book of Remembrance entry
B.V.Sc., and Military Science : Captain, A.A.V.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisted in 1916 with Artillery as lieutenant, but transferred to A.A.V.C. 24th July as captain, sailed for Egypt with shipment of horses and returned to Australia. Re-embarking, served with A.A.V.C. in France at 1st Division H.Q. and later commanded 1st Australian Mobile Veterinary Section until demobilisation. A.M.F. : Commission in R.F.A.
