Book of Remembrance entry

M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 17th February, 1916, and sailing in May with hospital ship Karoola was in Egypt in June and July, and with 1st Divisional Artillery on the Somme in August and during 1917 in Ypres sector and along Passchendaele Ridge. In January, 1918, joined No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, and again moved up to Front Line after Amiens offensive, serving until October, 1918, and returning 29th December. Member of St. Andrew's College.
