Book of Remembrance entry
B.D.S.; D.M.D. (Harv.) : Private, A.A.M.C. (Dental Services), A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 16th November, 1915, and sailing 9th April, 1916, served one month at Tel-el-Kebir, then at Harefield Hospital and Salisbury Plain on dental work until September, 1918, when transferred to No. 1 1 Dental Unit, and attached to 4th Divisional Ammunition Column in France until demobilisation. Early education at Toowoomba Grammar School.
