M.B., Ch.M. : Corporal, 10th Light Trench Mortar Battery, A.I.F., France. Enlisting in November, 1916, and sailing 2nd December with 5th Reinforcements 5th L.T.M. Battery, joined unit 19th December, 1917, and served until demobilisation. Early education at Cleveland St. Public School. Later two years in Arts (e).
