B.Sc.Agr. : Driver, 5th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 27th December, 1917, and sailing 30th April, 1918, arrived in England via Suez, Italy and France 7th August. Joined unit in France 20th October, remained with it until 27th March, 1919, and then served until demobilisation with A.I.F. Graves Detachment. Early education at Hurlstone Agricultural High School and later at Hawkesbury Agricultural College
