Econ. : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 19th April, 1915, and sailing 9th August, remained on the Peninsula from 26th September until the Evacuation. Was with 15th Australian Field Ambulance at Fromelles, Bullecourt, Bapaume, Passchendaele, Villers-Bretonneux and Mericourt, where gassed 19th June, 1918, and evacuated to England, but served till demobilisation.
