BA ., LL.B. : Signaller, 18th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 31st January, 1916, and sailing 3rd June, joined battn. in Ypres sector in October and served with unit on the Somme. Invalided to London General Hospital, Wandsworth, 22nd February, 1917, No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 1st April, and thence to Australia via Weymouth, arriving 25th October.
