Book of Remembrance entry
BE., A.M.I.E.Aust. : Sapper, 2nd Signal Troop, A.I.F., Palestine. Enlisting 15th March, 1916, and sailing 18th September with A.L.H. reinforcements, transferred in Egypt to Signallers. Upon completion of course at Alexandria, joined 2nd Signal Troop, Anzac Mounted Division, and served until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
