Pharmacy : Private, 13th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in June, 1917, and sailing in October with Engineer reinforcements, transferred to battn. in England, joining it in France in March, 1918. Served continuously till wounded at Hamel 4th July and evacuated to No. 4 American General Hospital, Rouen, thence to England and Australia, spending seven months in Randwick Hospital prior to discharge in October, 1919.
