Enlisting in March, 1917, and sailing 5th November with 31st Artillery reinforcements, served from March, 1918, with 4th Divisional Ammunition Column and then with battery as acting corporal until demobilisation. Early education at Marist Brothers' High School, St. Mary's Cathedral.
