MB. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., France. Gazetted lieutenant 15th March, 1915, crossed to France and was R.M.O. 13th Battn. Royal Scots, serving till death. Promoted captain, 15th March, 1916. Killed in Action, Hohenzollern Redoubt, 11th May, 1916, and buried in Vermelles British Cemetery. Early education at Newington College.
