14.7.15, A.A.M.C., Capt.; sailed 15.7.15; first to Harefield Park Hospital; reached Lemnos just at evacuation; joined 2nd L.H. Fld. Amb. in Egypt 18.1.16; R.M.O. 8th L.H.R. 10.2.17; Major 24.8.17. Awarded M.C. for conspicuous bravery at Romani and Bir-el-Abd August 1916. Sir A. Murray's Despatches 13.10.16, and again mentioned for service in Palestine.
Died at No. 14 A.G.H., Port Said, on 29th July 1918, as the result of an aeroplane accident.
