Book of Remembrance entry

B.E. : Sapper, 1st Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 6th September, 1915, in 10th Battn. reinforcements, and sailing 18th December, transferred to Engineers and, crossing to France in March, 1916, served till death. Died of Wounds, Pozieres, 24th July, 1916, and was buried in Warloy-Baillon Cemetery, near Albert. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew's College.
