Book of Remembrance entry
Econ. I and Law : Sapper, 15th Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 12th January, 1917, and sailing 8th August via Panama, U.S.A., Nova Scotia and England, fought in France till gassed at Hamelet 14th April, 1918, and evacuated to hospital. On recovery rejoined coy. and served until demobilisation.
