M.D., Ch.M.; F.R.C.S. (Edin.) : Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., India. Enlisting in Edinburgh and sailing 25th April, 1916, from Southampton, served with 34th British General Hospital at Deolali, India, for several months, then as Transport M.O., Bombay to Basrah, returning to Australia 25th April, 1917. Early education at Sydney High School.
