Book of Remembrance entry
Arts : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt, England and France. Enlisting 9th May, 1915, and sailing on 15th, was with No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Lemnos, until the Evacuation and then at Abbassia till September, 1916, and at Brighton till January, 1917. Transferring to 5th Australian Field Ambulance, served in France as stretcher-bearer and otherwise until demobilisation. Member of Teachers'' College.
