Arts : Private, 53rd Battn., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 23rd December, 1916, and sailing 24th January, 1917, joined battn. 17th October and served, except for a short period of sickness, until the Armistice, then transferring to Administrative H.Q., London, while awaiting demobilisation. Early education at College of the Bible, Glen Iris, Victoria.
