Book of Remembrance entry

M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in March, 1916, and sailing in July, joined 15th Australian Field Ambulance at Fleurbaix, proceeding to Somme in October as R.M.O. 13th Field Artillery Brigade. Wounded at Flers in January, 1917, and near Bapaume in April, when evacuated to hospital. On recovery became R.M.O. 14th Bde., serving with it till February, 1919. Early education at Arncliffe College and Fort St. Model School.
