Book of Remembrance entry
M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt, France and England. Enlisting in February, 1916, and sailing 20th May on hospital ship "Karoola ", was with 1st Australian Field Ambulance and 10th Battn. until invalided in December. On recovery was R.M.O. No. 3 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, returning to Australia on hospital transport "Suevic "in June, 1917. Re-embarking for England and France in February, 1918, served with 10th A.F.Amb. and as R.M.O. 37th Battn. till demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. High School.
