Book of Remembrance entry
Econ. : Hon. Lieutenant, Y.M.C.A., A.I.F., England. After being thrice rejected as medically unfit, was attached to A.I.F. as Y.M.C.A. officer in May, 1917, and sailed 1st August but on arrival in England was invalided to Military Hospital, Liverpool. After four months resumed service until December, 1918, when invalided to No. 3 London Military Hospital, returning 15th November, 1919- Member of Teachers'' College.
