Book of Remembrance entry
Econ. : Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 4th August, 1915, and sailing 18th April, 1916, joined 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance 14th July and served at Romani, Maghaba, Rafa, Gaza, Beersheba, Jericho, Amman, Es Salt and elsewhere until the Armistice and during the Egyptian native insurrection, returning in January, 1920.
