Book of Remembrance entry

M.B., F.R.A.C.S. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt, England and France. Enlisting about July, 1915, and sailing 20th August, served with 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance in Gallipoli, Upper Egypt and Sinai until October, 1916, when transferred to England and thence to No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, and No. 1 A.G.H., Rouen. Joining 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station in March, 1917, remained with it until October, 1918, when recalled to England for special training, returning for demobilisation. Early education at St. Ignatius'' College and Sydney Grammar School.
