B.A. : Private, 1st Pioneer Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 19th July, 1916, and sailing 17th October, joined battn. at Bapaume and served till wounded at Menin Road 10th September, 1917, and evacuated to hospital and thence to Australia, arriving 1st June, 1918.
