Pharmacy : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 23rd February, 1917, and sailing 9th November, proceeded to England via Panama and served, though gassed at Peronne 1st September, 1918, with 8th Australian Field Ambulance until demobilisation, returning via South Africa. Passed through Officers'' Training School, Rue. Early education at Hobart Intermediate High School.
