B.A., LL.B. : Lieutenant, 1st Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 10th May, 1915, as second-lieutenant and sailing with 6th Reinforcements 16th June, joined battn. at Gallipoli, and served until the Evacuation. Crossing to France, fought until wounded 5th October, 1916, and, on recovery, until the end of the War, returning 16th January, 1920. Promoted lieutenant, 1st October, 1916. Early education at Sydney High School.
