M.B., Ch.M., F.R.A.C.S., M.C.O.G. (Lond.) : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt, and Palestine. After serving with No. 4 Australian General Hospital, Randwick, joined A.I.F. 20th April, 1918, sailed 9th November, and was at A.I.F. H.Q., Cairo. Was later R.M.O. 8th A.L.H. Regt. in Syria and n th in Palestine and with 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance in Egypt, returning in 1920 after three months' non-military employment in England in 1919. University Medallist. Early education at Sydney High School.
