Eng. I : Lieutenant, A.F.C., A.I.F., England. Enlisting in October, 1917, was appointed 2nd Air Mechanic, and selected as Air Cadet, Central Flying School, Laverton, winning a pilot''s certificate. Was commissioned 29th April, 1918, and, sailing for England 6th June, served until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
