Arts II (e) : Sergeant, 13th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 16th May, 1917, and sailing with Artillery reinforcements, joined brigade on the Somme 23rd May, 1918, and served until demobilisation. Promoted temporary sergeant, 16th December, 1918. Pre-War : Principal, Scone Grammar School.
