L., L.M.R.C.P. and S. (Irel.), L.M. (Rotunda, Dub.), Med. : Wireless Operator, Radio Branch, R.A.N. Enlisting 17th December, 1917, after being twice rejected by Military for eyesight, joined Wireless Training School and, obtaining certificate in May, 1918, was appointed to transport "Port Lyttleton "and, sailing in June, served until demobilisation. Early education at St. Ignatius' and St. Aloysius' Colleges.
