M.B., F.R.A.C.S. : Lieutenant-Colonel, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting 15th February, 1915, and sailing 13th June with 7th Australian Field Ambulance, served with it in Gallipoli, Egypt and France, becoming R.M.O. 28th Battn. early in 1917. Then, after being at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, was R.M.O. 2nd Machine Gun and 25th Battns. On 20th November, 1918, was promoted lieutenant-colonel and C.O. 12th A.F.Amb., returning in January, 1920. A.M.F. : A.A.M.C. in Brisbane, 1914; after the War, C.O. 7th A.F.Amb., Colonel and A.D.M.S. n th Mixed Brigade. Hon. Consulting Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, Brisbane Hospital. Early education at Toowong South, Walthamstow Grammar and Brisbane Normal and Grammar Schools.
