Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and England. Volunteered during medical course but was held to complete it. Enlisting 15th April, 1918, and sailing 16th October, served at Hospitals, No. 2 Australian Stationary, Moascar, No. 14 Australian General, Port Said, and No. 26 General, Abbassia. Then accompanied invalided English troops to England and was later M.O. Sutton Veny Camp, returning as M.O. troopship Megantic in January, 1920. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
