Not listed in the Book of Remembrance. Cooke was initially classified as medically unfit but served as sergeant instructor in wireless in the Wireless Corp from 1917. Promoted to lieutenant wireless instructor prior to the armistice with full charge of wireless instruction to the Wireless Corp. for active service.
