B.A. : Signaller, 30th and 32nd Battns., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 24th January, 1916, and sailing 9th April, served in Somme and Ypres sectors from December. Was in hospital during March and April, 1917, rejoined battn. on recovery, was invalided to England in January, 1918, but served till demobilisation. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
