B.E. : Sapper, 1st Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting in February, 1915, and sailing with 5th Reinforcements, joined coy. in Gallipoli where wounded in action, 12th July, and evacuated to hospital in Malta. Died of Wounds, Malta, 23rd July, 1915, and was buried at Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
