M.B., Ch.M. : Lieutenant, 25th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting from Eng. II 6th October, 1915, and sailing n th May, 1916, crossed to France with 3rd Division in November and served at Armentieres and Messines till wounded at Ploegsteert Wood in June, 1917, being evacuated to hospital and thence to Australia, arriving in December. Early education at Sydney High School. Later two years in Science.
