M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, and sailing 29th July, was at No. 2 Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, from 17th October to 24th January, 1917, when transferred as M.O. to 5th Divisional Engineers. Joined 8th Australian Field Ambulance 25th December, becoming R.M.O. 31st Battn. 3rd March, 1918. Transferred to 5th Sanitary Section 3rd June, 8th A.F. Amb. 20th July, 3rd San. Sec. 4th September and 11th A.F. Amb. 3rd April, 1919, serving until demobilisation. Early education at The King's and Sydney Grammar Schools. Later at St. Paul's College.
