Econ. I : Lieutenant, 17th Battn. and 5th Trench Mortar Battery, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 18th October, 1915, and sailing with 11th Reinforcements 17th Battn., joined battn. in France 23rd October, 1916, and transferred to battery, 18th January, 1917, serving on the Somme till death. Killed in Action, Le Sars, 7th February, 1917, and buried in Warlencourt British Cemetery. Early education at Knox College.
