Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Private, 4th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 2nd September, 1915, and sailing 23rd December, joined unit in Egypt 14th February, 1916, and, crossing to France in June, served until wounded at Pozieres, 25th July. Rejoining unit in November, was wounded again at Bullecourt, 5th May, 1917, and, after rejoining in November, was finally wounded at Proyart, 23rd August, 1918, returning to Australia, 6th June, 1919.
