E.E. Broadbent was Officer of Health at the Local Board of Health at Bordertown - where he had a medical practice from 1919-1939. He was instrumental in the building of the War Memorial Hospital in Bordertown.He later became the first Registrar at the 105 Australian Military Hospital, Daw Park, later known as the Repatriation General Hospital.
