Mentioned in Despatches three times. A.M.F. : Chaplain (Class 2) 25th February, 1923, (Class 1) 25th February, 1928, Acting Senior, 1934. Early education at Picton Public and Goulburn High Schools, also St. Nicholas'' College, North Goulburn. Later at St. Paul's.
