Book of Remembrance entry
B.E., M.I.M.M. : Lieutenant, 3rd Australian Tunnelling Coy., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 30th December, 1915, was appointed second-lieutenant, 6th Tunnelling Coy., and promoted lieutenant, 1st May, 1916. Sailing 1st June, joined 3rd Coy. 25th September on the disbanding of 6th and served until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
