Sci. II : Gunner, 25th Battery, A.F.A., and Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 25th October, 1915, and sailing n th May, 1916, with battery, fought at Armentieres, Messines, Ypres II I and elsewhere. Transferring to 10th Australian Field Ambulance 10th February, 1917, served till wounded 31st August, 1918. Died of Wounds, Clery-sur-Somme, 31st August, 1918, and was buried in Hem Farm Military Cemetery, Hem-Monacu. Early education at Wellington College, N.Z., and Scotch College, Melbourne.
