Book of Remembrance entry
B.Ec. : Lieutenant, 33rd Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 19th July, 1915, was commissioned in January and, sailing 4th May, 1916, was Intelligence Officer, 9th Infantry Brigade, from November, 1916, to September, 1917. Wounded at Zonnebeke 1st October and invalided to Australia, arriving 16th April, 1918. Early education at Woollahra Superior Public School.
