B.E., A.M.I.E.Aust. : Lance-Corporal, 7th Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 21st December, 1915, and sailing 30th March, 1916, reached England via Egypt in May. After training at Royal Engineers'' Depot, Christchurch, Hants, joined unit in France in October, remaining with it till January, 1919. Won Matriculation Certificate at A.I.F. Education School, Rue, pending demobilisation.
