B.A., Law II : Captain, 13th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 17th August, 1914, and sailing in December, was at the Landing and wounded at Quinn's Post 12th May, 1915. Crossing to France in June, 1916, served at Fleurbaix, Pozieres and Mouquet Farm, where reported Missing . Killed in Action, Mouquet Farm, 11th August, 1916, and buried in Serre Road Cemetery, No. 1, Beaumont Hamel. A.M.F. : Second-lieutenant. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
