Diploma in Economics and Commerce : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 29th October, 1915, and sailing 22nd December, was at Cairo with No. 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital till September, 1916. Transferring to 13th Australian Field Ambulance in France early in 1917, served until injured at Messines about November, and invalided to Australia, arriving in March, 1918. Early education at Randwick and Cleveland Street Public and Sydney High Schools.
