Book of Remembrance entry
Pharmacy : Warrant Officer, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting 14th August, 1914, and sailing 22nd December as sergeant, 1st Australian Field Ambulance, served from the Anzac Landing, with promotion to regimental quartermaster sergeant. Returned in August, 1916, on account of injury and sickness and was on the recruiting staff till the end of the War. Early education at District and Technical Schools, Cobar.
