Travelled overseas with her mother in 1916, eventually arriving in London at the end of the year. Served with the Australian Red Cross, Prisoner of War Department, London
Also with Queen Mary’s Army Auxiliary Corps as Worker 34635, serving in a Theatre of War from the 12/4/1918 to the 10/10/1919. Returned to Australia on the Aeneas, embarking 22/11/1919.
