B.A.: Sergeant, 6th A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 25th June, 1918, and sailing 16th October, served during Egyptian Revolt in 1919 and was attached to A.I.F. Education Staff as temporary sergeant in field and at Cairo in 1918-19. President, Evening Students'' Association. Early education at Tilba Tilba Public School. Later at Hereford House.
